The Amazing Etsy!

Buona Notte!
Sometimes I find it fun to browse the wedding section of Etsy to not only find cool things to add to my wedding collection but to inspire my own creativity by checking out the creative ideas of others! Click any of these pics to reach the Etsy page on which they were found!

Personalized Bird Seed Favors

I love this handmade belt! I love her dress too!

This gorgeous French Chic dress, wold be so fun to wear during the reception!

I totally want one of these handmade personalized stamps!

I love all of these things...so beautiful and handmade and not for a bad price either. The cool thing about Etsy is that you still get that handmade feel (and love) but you didn't have to do it. Sometimes there are things that you just can't make on your own or maybe it isn't worth the time and money. A DIY wedding is A LOT to do all on your own. And if you're anything like me- a "I'm going to do the whole thing myself so that it can do it my way" type it's hard to just give the control over to your family to just handcraft something that you may have a imagined in a particular way in your mind. No offense to my own family of course, I'm just a control freak...and a perfectionist :) Maybe your family doesn't really want that responsibility-that can be a lot to take on! With Etsy you can see a picture first so you know what to expect when you order it.

Anyway, I came across this really awesome Etsy Shop called Go Rustic and I love soooo much of their stuff! Here are some pics of the amazing things that I want!

So many lovely things! I may need to order something :)

Happy Etsy-ing

For Your Entertainment

Soooo

I've been trying to think of something for our guest to do besides our photo booth and making s'mores of course! Something at the table to keep them entertained while waiting for food. I found an idea on Friends of Type that I think would be kind of fun and fun to make!

Plus they would be fun to read afterward, and they could kind of serve as an ice breaker if you don't know everyone you're seated with! What do ya think- would this entertain you?

Happy Planning!

AMAZING DIY Seating Tags!

I am soooo excited to share these with you! I finally got the supplies to make these adorable Seating Tags. All you need to make these is:

-Rubber Erasers
-Shipping Tags ( I used 2 3/4" x 1 3/8"...the small ones)
-Ink Pad
-Exacto

And this literally took me like 15 min to do...it is soooo easy! I will show you my process through pics of course:

To follow our theme I did a mustache for boys and a bird for girls!
Cut around your outline 1/8" deep.
Start at the corner for this part and work your way toward your shape.

HOW AWESOME, RIGHT?! You can tell I'm very excited. I may write the names, I may use little typewriter style alphabet stamps if I can find small ones. I'm not sure yet. And then on the back it will say the table number. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to do numbers or something a little more interesting to name each table. I am just so pleased with how this turned out and how EASY it was! Kc was quite impressed with my skills as well and loves the mustache of course!

PS We carved these awesome pumpkins today and I would also like to share them with you because no one is ever going to see them but us otherwise:

They're pretty great :)

Happy Carving,
