So I was inspired toady while reading Graphic Design USA magazine when I saw the Pantone Color Forecast for 2011. I have felt very frustrated trying to choose colors for the wedding. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to colors and color palettes and I have changed my mind about 100 times on what colors I want. Part of the problem was that I hadn't taken the time to sit down and experiment. So that is what I did for HOURS today (i have several mosquito bites bc I sat outside and once I had started there was no stopping). Here's what I've created:
Whaddya think? It may not be the final palette but I like it for now :)
Inspiration boards are great for getting your thoughts together and having something to refer to in order to keep a
consistent theme. It is
especially useful in the case of a wedding because you are generally planning for about a year or so!
Dessy has a really cool board maker with Pantone if you don't have InDesign or Photoshop.
Plus they're really fun to make!

Mary - I LOVE the color palette. Now I get it, LOL, the colors you were talking about. They are great!! They go together perfectly AND for the setting you are having the venue which is more natural I think these will look really good there :-) Can't wait!
